Cork Board
Most of our Cork board is coated with lime and out of sight, but we just like the look of it without the lime plaster around the yard at Stoneware (and of course it’s Cork so it doesn’t mind our seaside location too much!)

Roman Cement coloured lime mortar
Here’s a man who’s meticulous with his craft. Derek Mangan lining out our Roman Cement coloured lime mortar, and of course we can’t forget our great friend John Scully RIP on that job too.
Secil NHL
New house, now about 5 years old completely built with our Secil NHL in Cork city. Zero lime leaching or any other unsightly staining that hybrid mixes can cause. Strong case for using Secil NHL on all brickwork, old and new. Check out Midleton train station also, the main building was re-pointed with our lime but the car park walls were built with sand/lime/cement mix (and have all the signs of it!) Very short short term thinking mixing cement with lime.
Lime Harling & Limewash
You would think this is a holiday snap from France maybe but it’s Ormond Castle in Carrick-On-Suir. Lovely lime harling and limewash. Well done Kevin and Pat and Flora and Tommy and all the gang involved.
Tuck pointing
A rare example of new Tuck Pointing in Co. Cork. There’s lots of evidence of historic pointing styles and finishes around Cork but we’d love to see more of them restored as well as this one. Congrats to Shane, Chris and the Nolans crew.
