The soft tone of @earthbornpaints White Clay is relaxing for the (v) spoilt Maple, not to mention it is limewash-level breathable, VOC free, EcoLabeled and very good value.
Trade Show
The young lad Jack helping out at Muchross, Killarney the other day (before getting sense and heading to the big smoke for the big bucks) Great to have my old friend Peter @conservationtec with us also and meet all the regulars down there.

Lime Harling
Very nice Lime Harling matching in to old by @kensisk1 using Secil RB and beach pebble. Straight and Radius factory-painted cast iron rainwater gutters supplied too.
Training Day
A very enjoyable morning today with our guests training on vernacular lime finishes. Always a pleasure to meet new people and help a little with their plans.
Restored Old Buildings
If you like growing things and beautifully restored old buildings then this is not a bad spot to spend a weekend. But the Whiskey is not as good as ours.
Shame to see the loss of all the beautiful tooling and masons work weathered away over the years by the wild weather down in Dingle but we’re delighted to be involved to help save and protect all the best of it and repair the rest.
Lime mortar
Some interesting use of lime mortar; pointing above dado and plastering below with some lime window and door frames. Nice work Katy and @manganderek and the Youghal boys. ‘Looking forward to seeing the Secil Cork board pictures for outside shortly.

Glin Bathing Lodge getting some repairs and Secil Lime Shelter coat in Co. Limerick. Nice job Ben. To all the early morning sea swimmers at the front strand, Youghal, you should get onto the council. You deserve one of these.
Sent for a recommendation
Client sends us this today and asked for a recommendation. Yeah, it will need lime pointing and rendering but… its’s so unusual to see a random rubble stack so eroded of the mortar and yet still stable that it’s almost a shame to touch it.
St. Marys Collegiate Church
St. Marys Collegiate Church, Youghal. A thousand odd years of history and worship at this place, built centuries before the reformation. With a little care and attention, it will last forever. Nice photo @kieran.mac of the winter frosts.
